Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication (written + verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to interpret data and reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred).
  • Discretion and trustworthiness with sensitive information.
  • High attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management.

Purpose: This role demands a highly organized, tech-savvy, and discreet professional who can support the CMD in decision-making, communication, analysis, and coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Technical Support

  • Provide analytical and technical support to CMD on ongoing projects and strategic decisions.
  • Assist in evaluating technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
  • Draft high-level summaries, presentations, and decision notes based on internal/external reports.

2. Research & Analysis

  • Conduct background research on key topics, trends, or industry insights relevant to CMD's agenda.
  • Analyse operational data, performance KPIs, and project metrics for CMD review.
  • Prepare benchmarking reports, competitor analysis, and risk assessments.

3. Business & Project Coordination

  • Liaison with department heads to follow up on CMD directives and ensure timely action and feedback.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings, task tracking, and project reviews.
  • Maintain MIS and dashboard systems to monitor business activities.

4. Communication & Documentation

  • Prepare speeches, presentations, internal communications, and technical drafts on behalf of CMD.
  • Review and refine critical documents before submission to CMD.
  • Act as a confidential sounding board for strategic matters.

5. Administrative & Confidential Support

  • Manage CMD's technical calendar: briefings, project site visits, tech conferences, etc.
  • Handle confidential files and correspondence with discretion.
  • Accompany CMD to high-level meetings, recording MOMs and action items.
