About This RoleThis QA/Test Engineer position plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mature inspection management platform. As part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with our engineers to test features across web and mobile applications, maintain test automation, and champion quality throughout the development lifecycle.Test new features in Rails MVC web application and mobile appsCreate and execute comprehensive test plans and test casesIdentify, document, and track bugs through resolutionPerform regression testing for releases and hotfixesValidate user workflow, data gathering, and quality reports Ensure cross-browser and responsive design compatibilityVerify data integrity across inspection workflowsKey ResponsibilitiesWeb Application Testing: Test new features in Rails MVC web application and mobile apps.Comprehensive Test Planning: Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.Bug Identification and Resolution: Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.Regression Testing: Perform regression testing for releases and hotfixes.Data Integrity Verification: Validate user workflow, data gathering, and quality reports.Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure cross-browser and responsive design compatibility.Inspection Workflow Data Integrity: Verify data integrity across inspection workflows.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:4-7 years software testing experience in web applicationsProven hands-on experience setting up or maintaining test suitesMust demonstrate ability to configure test frameworks independentlyStrong understanding of SaaS platform testingManual testing expertise with systematic approachAPI testing using Postman or similar toolsMobile app testing (iOS/Android)Cross-browser testing methodologyExperience with multi-tenant application testingProduction issue troubleshooting skills
