This position is for our Global Center of Data Science Excellence in India.If you are ready to embrace the challenge and would like to join our team as one of our Data Engineers, please keep readingKey ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Data Engineer who has hands-on experience on Database and Data warehouse technologies with hands on experience in Alteryx is preferable.Developing, implementing, modifying, and providing ongoing management of business systems, processes, databases, software and tools.Experience in writing SQL queries against any RDBMS with query optimizationIngestion of Epsilon and Altair InstallsIngestion and conversion of GS Epsilon InstallManagement of all sFTP and file transfer credentialsData Append request execution (Altair & Epsilon)Ingestion of Epsilon ZIP-level data, Zip radius look up processManage and standardize all data practice requests/processes.Standard import scripts for loading data into Snowflake/R/PythonImprove Alteryx data append process and match ratesDevelopment of derived variables (Model velocity, customer penetration)Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx to be used by the BI Reporting toolPrepare technical specifications and documentation for Alteryx workflows supporting BI reports.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.​​​​​Required Skills and Experience2+ years of hand on experience of developing python-based solutions/applications.Strong experience of working with Object Oriented programming in Python.Strong experience of working with API's and integrating multiple applications together.Experience in using Business Intelligence tools such as: Tableau, Power BI for business applications is a plus.Experience of working with Data Warehousing Technologies like BigQuery, Redshift, or snowflake is a plus.Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities.Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations.Educational QualificationsMaster's/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
