Manager - Talent Management

Reports to Lead Talent Managment

Role Summary - Manage and execute talent management, engagement, and development strategies & activities for IndiGrid.


Role Growth Opportunities - The role shall grow with the growth in the function. This role has linkage with the functional performance which itself is dynamic enough. We foresee multiple outside acquisitions in the Power Transmission and Energy space and diversification into renewables shall bring different challenges. We are spread across geographies and hence connecting with various sets of people across domains and at different places will be unique. The incumbent would need to bring scalability in aligning people at the ground level (at times even contractual manpower) with the core values of the organization. In our kind of setup, the incumbent will get an opportunity to bring change in the lives of our people daily and through multiple channels of relevant HR interventions.


Key Role Deliverables

Talent Management

  • Drive, manage and execute talent management programs and activities
  • Ensure alignment with internal HR team members – HR Ops, HRBP and People Managers are updated on the talent philosophy and program expectations
  • Execute Talent Review and key talent programs based on framework
  • Create a repository of key talent and skills at IndiGrid and mechanism to track growth and skill development across levels
  • Drive Vendor Management activities including planning, event coordination and payments, etc
  • Execute on ground Talent activities and events in alignment with program goals
  • Support key learning and development projects at IndiGrid


  • Engagement Drive various planned engagement activities and interventions as per IndiGrid’s Engagement Framework and annual priorities
  • Manage Gallup diagnostic survey planning, data preparation and survey roll out
  • Drive the usage and adoption for R&R platform at IndiGrid
  • Draft communications & campaigns to drive key Talent & engagement programs, launches & adoption


HR Metrics & Analytics

  • Measure program effectiveness for key programs
  • Present Talent & Learning metrics covering effectiveness, coverage & adoption
  • Drive activities with key metrics and show program ROI with a data driven mindset
