Job Description - CounsellorThe role of a Counsellor is to provide guidance and support to prospective students as they navigate the counselling process. This involves understanding their learning needs and providing suitable course recommendations.We are seeking an experienced Counsellor who can effectively communicate with students in Odia, Hindi, and English.This includes conducting telephonic and online counselling sessions, understanding candidates' educational background, career goals, and recommending appropriate courses.Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and following up on leads to convert inquiries into enrollments.Key Responsibilities:Conducting telephonic and online counselling sessions with prospective students.Understanding candidates' educational background, career goals, and recommending appropriate courses.Tracking and following up on leads to convert inquiries into enrollments.Maintaining detailed records of student interactions in the CRM system.Providing accurate information about courses, fees, schedules, and learning outcomes.Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through a consultative approach.Coordinating with internal teams for smooth enrollment and onboarding processes.Meeting weekly and monthly counselling and conversion targets.Required Skills & Competencies:Mandatory: Fluency in Odia, Hindi, and English.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand and address student queries with empathy.Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve targets.Good understanding of the Ed-Tech domain (preferred).Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM tools.Preferred Background:Experience in Ed-Tech, Inside Sales, Telesales, or Educational Counselling.Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales/counselling targets.
