About SMFSMF is a non-profit organization with the goal to enhance public education and support schools in fostering holistic child development through values-based learning environments and life-skills education.Job Summary:We are seeking individuals with excellent training skills and prior experience working with the government system, preferably in the school education sector, to undertake the training of teachers/resource persons/Govt officials at the district level.Position Details:No. of positions: 2Job Location: Pune. Required to travel in districts of MaharashtraDesignation: Master TrainerReporting to: Head of Capacity BuildingResponsibilities:Actively support HOD and curriculum department in designing need-based capacity building programmes, content development, case studies and training modules.Conduct online/offline training for teachers and other school stakeholders.Document capacity building, handholding visits and maintain records regularly.Compile, analyse, discuss and finalise region-wise specific capacity building needs in consultation with the Head.Conducting frequent field visits to project schools to conduct classroom observations, understand challenges/difficulties of teacher in implementation of specific activities, and support teacher to overcome challenges identified.Support programme team in identification and documentation of good practices and case studies.Support M&E team in collecting qualitative information, as needed.Prepare and submit reports about the developments made towards achieving planned objectives and quarterly and annual reports within the specified time.Requirements:Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, and good facilitation skills in Marathi and Hindi.Excellent Presentation/Delivery skillsThe ability to relate to trainees at all levels.Multi-task and adhere to strict timelines.Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to encourage and motivate peopleHard-working, self-starter and team player reflecting strong commitment towards workStrong documentation skillsAdvanced proficiency in computer skills (MS Office)Knowledge or understanding of the national policy documents on education, principles of education and child psychology will be an added advantage.Educational Qualification and Experience:A Bachelor's/master's degree in education, Social Sciences, Social work, Development studies. 2 – 5 years of experience in capacity building/training, and post-training support. Hands-on training with teachers and other stakeholders through facilitation and participatory workshops is mandatory. Content writing, designing training modules and testing are desirable.
