Job Overview

We are seeking an experiencedMagento Developer to lead and contribute to the enhancement and development of cutting-edge e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Magento 2.4+, deep proficiency in PHP, and strong architectural and team leadership capabilities. This role requires someone who can lead projects, mentor junior developers, and deliver scalable, high-performance Magento applications.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development

  • Design, develop, and customize applications on Magento 2.4+ (Open Source).
  • Build and extend custom modules and integrate third-party systems.
  • Develop custom admin panels, menu structures, and back-end workflows tailored to business needs.
  • Manage multi-store setups, including multi-brand environments with shared regions, currencies, and tax configurations.
  • Optimize performance through effective indexing, caching strategies, and scalable architecture.
  • Implement and maintain Magento security best practices, including security patches and vulnerability fixes.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead development efforts and mentor junior developers to enhance platform knowledge and coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Provide architectural direction and ensure adherence to Magento development standards.

Maintenance & Optimization

  • Handle Magento version migrations and ensure smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Magento applications using XDEBUG, ElasticSearch, and other tools.
  • Customize the CMS panel and work with Magento entities using TDD (Test-Driven Development) practices.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with a strong focus on object-oriented design and design patterns.

Project & Quality Management

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Magento project implementations, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and quality assurance to maintain performance and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Magento and PHP development.
  • Strong command over Magento 2.4+, including architecture, customization, and module development.
  • Expertise in HTML, XML, MySQL, HTTP, REST, SOAP, WSDL, and web services.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX/Nginx, CMS customization, and advanced debugging techniques.
  • Experience with Git and working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture, Magento framework entities, and Magento customization techniques.
  • Proficiency in scripting and performance-tuned SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Magento 2.x Certification (Developer/Professional/Architect)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with full stack development principles and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience in microservices or event-driven architecture is desirable.
