About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Senior Developer with strong expertise in Magento 2, PHP, and eCommerce solution architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the development lifecycle, provide technical oversight, ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems, and drive innovation in eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement Magento 2 eCommerce solutions.

- Build low-level designs and guide the development team on technical approaches.

- Lead system integrations with ERP, CRM, OMS, middleware, payment gateways, and third-party systems.

- Participate in technical scoping, requirement gathering, and solution design during pre & post-sales processes.

- Conduct Technical Discovery sessions with clients to understand business goals and technical requirements.

- Develop integration strategies for clients 1st and 3rd party systems and technology vendors.

- Author RFI/RFP responses and prepare client-facing solution documentation.

- Provide technical oversight to development teams, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.

- Stay updated with latest industry trends, methodologies, and Magento commerce advancements.

- Mentor and guide team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and best practices.

- Deliver client-facing presentations, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7 - 10 years of hands-on experience in PHP development with at least 5+ years in Magento and 2+ years in Magento 2.

- Strong expertise in Magento platform architecture, custom module development, and system integrations.

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, LAMP/LEMP stack, and OOP concepts.

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, XSL, SOAP, REST, AJAX.

- Experience with design patterns and building scalable, high-performance applications.

- Expertise in payment gateway and shopping cart development.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate omni-channel commerce value propositions.

- Prior experience in mentoring teams and providing technical leadership.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
