Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX and design teams to implement new features and meet brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and update security patches and feature upgrades on Magento stores.
  • Provide technical support for deployed Magento sites and handle support requests.
  • Participate in code reviews and document technical processes and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' hands-on experience with Magento development (both Magento 1.x and 2.x preferred).
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Magento CLI, Linux environments, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of Magento module and theme development, Magento architecture, and customization best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and eCommerce analytics tools is a plus.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and meet project deadlines.
  • Magento certification is considered an advantage.
