Access Management Architect (10_+Years)

A Highly Skilled and Hands-On Security Architect who has and or specializes in Access Management Authorization natural language policy architecture and implementation. It is required that the candidate has deployed 1 or more full implementations of projects that have delivered natural language authorization policies to production. The candidate must have been involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle and can lead the architecture and development of access management projects from professional experience.
Architect and Design:
Architect and design Access Management technology solutions, including installations, integrations, configurations, and supporting infrastructure.
Create and maintain enterprise standard architectural documentation, reference diagrams, process models, and runbooks.
Technology Solutions:
Plan, coordinate, and execute solutions for infrastructure, cloud, and network activities related to Access Management, including installations, upgrades, and patches.
Implement and manage access management solutions such as PlainID and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), ensuring integration with enterprise systems.
Automate security tasks using Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform.
Utilize Microsoft Azure services (Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault) to enhance security, compliance, and enforce policies via Azure Policy and Blueprints.
Utilize Azure Databricks for big data processing, advanced analytics, and machine learning.
Integrate access management solutions with enterprise systems and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
Design secure network architectures using Azure Virtual Network, NSGs, and Azure Firewall for secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
Review, document, analyze and provide improvements to new and existing access management infrastructure setup, configuration, and deployment model to ensure security and compliance.

Cloud and DevOps Integration:
Utilize Azure platforms and implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, infrastructure as code, policy as code) to streamline deployment and operations.
Set up and configure DevOps Pipelines for migrating authorization policies between environments.
Integrate Azure DevOps for automation pipeline in deployment and testing, adhering to best practices.
Policy Administration and Management:
Design and develop access management authorization policies based on a natural language framework developed by the IFC with PlainID or any other relevant authorization platforms.
Plan for and execute Access Management Policy migration and deployments.
Plan for and execute authorization platform installation, upgrades, and patches that include PlainID and supporting infrastructure.
Analyze Access Management Policy requirements to ensure proper setup and configuration of the Access Management technologies and infrastructure.
Production Support:
Provide production support, monitoring, and maintenance to Access Management services.
Monitor, triage, resolve, and close Access Management issues, and update ServiceNow tickets.
Lead weekly health checks of PlainID services in all environments, prioritizing production.
Provide application teams with architecture and infrastructure direction and guidance on technology platforms, including PlainID usage and integrations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technology and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure cohesive product development.
Agile Methodologies:
Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate iterative development, continuous feedback, and rapid delivery of project assignments.
Manage and maintain authorization documentation and artifacts in Azure DevOps and MS Teams.
Reporting:
Expand the access management and authorization framework to include new reporting and authorization capabilities. Develop a robust and stable access management reporting framework and solution that meets operational needs.
Provide weekly status reports and timely deliverables and updates.
Skills / Experience Required:

Must Require Skillsets
Access Management Expertise:
Extensive Hands-on experience with Access Management Authorization technologies such as PlainID.
Experience with using standardized natural language framework to develop and manage authorization policies.
Experience with IAM components and general Authorization Technology setup, installation, configuration, and administration, with a strong preference for experience with PlainID components is recommended.
Proven experience with SSO installation and configuration, including integration with technologies such as Keycloak, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), and/or Okta.
Solution Architecture:
Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions that align with business needs and enterprise standards.
Ability to create reference architecture diagrams and business process models using tools like iGrafx or Microsoft Visio.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman or similar frameworks.
Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise architecture artifacts, including principles, standards, and guidelines.
Azure Technologies:
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration and automation.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance.
Knowledge of Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure Policy.
Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
Database Experience:
Expertise in database security and administration (Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, Composite, Cosmos DB).
Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
