Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Control Specialist to join our team. As an IAM specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to control access to sensitive data and applications. You will collaborate with our IT and security teams to develop and enforce policies that protect us from potential security breaches or policy violations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing IAM systems to meet business requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining IAM policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
  • Implementing and managing IAM solutions and tools for user provisioning, de-provisioning, authentication, authorization, and reporting.
  • Collaborating with IT and business units to understand access needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Performing user account lifecycle management, including creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts and access rights.
  • Monitoring and auditing access controls to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Providing support for IAM-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving access problems for end-users.
  • Coordinating with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure effective implementation and integration of IAM products and services.
  • Conducting regular reviews and updates of IAM roles and permissions to align with changing business needs.
  • Training and educating staff on IAM policies and best practices to promote security awareness.
  • Participating in the evaluation and selection of IAM technologies and products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IAM, IT security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and frameworks (e.g., SSO, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, SailPoint, or similar.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to access control (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: $145,000 - $195,000 per year
