Job Specification: Applications Support Analyst – COINS
Main Purpose of the Role
The Applications Support Analyst for COINS will be responsible for providing in-depth support and maintenance of the COINS ERP System for housebuilders, encompassing various modules. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of COINS modules including Home, Cash Book, Central Repository, Contract Status, Customer Service, CVR, General Ledger, HB CRM, Inspections, Land Management, Procurement, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Subcontract Ledger, System, VAP, and VAT. The role will also involve handling 1st and 2nd line support queries and supporting wider business applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Systems and User Support.
- Act as the subject matter expert for COINS ERP System and its modules.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with third-party application providers to resolve support issues.
- Conduct regional visits to facilitate applications support workshops and on-site assistance based on incident trends or regional needs.
- Hold regular review meetings with third-party providers like COINS to prioritize and resolve support calls.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Monitor application availability and performance, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize as necessary.
- Training • Ensure the availability of appropriate training resources for COINS modules.
- Maintain up-to-date training documentation and e-learning materials in line with system changes and upgrades.
- User Groups & Enhancements.
- Participate and contribute to internal and external user communities.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, validate them, and drive them to conclusion.
- Ensure training provision aligns with application needs and updates.
- Project Support & Implementations • Take ownership of allocated projects or system configuration changes.
- Collaborate with third parties, such as COINS, to implement changes, Manage unit, user acceptance, and regression testing for allocated projects.
- Provide go-live support for new implementations or changes as agreed.
