Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our global process improvements, focusing on standardization, simplification, and automation of transactional activities. This role requires drive to identify and pursue value-add opportunities, extensive collaboration with business, finance, and technology stakeholders, and energy to implement effective end-to-end solutions to deliver enhanced efficiency and productivity.This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations and contribute to our innovation and excellence initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance to global procedures and operating methodologies in the transactional area and refine them continuously.Develop end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) knowledge with hands-on experience in SAP finance modules at the transactional level to guide the service provider to improve efficiency in operations.Understand vendor management with a focus on improving vendor-related metrics.Identify opportunities to simplify operational processes and automate them using bot solutions to create more efficiencies.Review and revise global standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with improved processes and practices.Ensure consistent levels of service delivery by the service provider and engage with units to improve or sustain them. Review key performance metrics and contractual service levels established with the service provider and validate them regularly.Define and update risk and control matrices (RACM), review and resolve RACM audit findings. Support Coats Group Internal Audit and External Audit teams in their assignments.Provide support and guidance to the business through the implementation of standardized processes and controls, monitoring compliance with group policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.Plan and conduct reviews on financial and operational aspects and identify control deficiencies, suggesting improvements.RequirementsA qualified accountant with minimum 5 years of experience in P2P, with at least 3 years of exposure to operational finance preferred. Alternatively, a semi-qualified accountant with minimum 8 years of accounting and finance experience (PTP), with at least 3 years of exposure to operational finance preferred.Strong leadership skills, with experience in operating with senior finance teams, leading and developing remote teams.Non-positional influencing skills.Hands-on experience with accounting principles and procedures.Internal Accounting Standards knowledge.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in SAP finance modules.Proficiency in advanced MS Excel.English proficiency.Desirable SkillsStrategic thinking.Stakeholder management.Proactivity.Communication, ability to challenge, persuade, and influence.Conflict management.Analytical and logical thinking skills.Emotional intelligence.Growth mindset.Readsoft knowledge.Ability to focus on details without losing sight of the macro picture.We offer a collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.
