Description:
We are a dynamic and innovative software company seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. Your primary role will be to sell our software services and submit compelling proposals on Upwork. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the software industry.
Responsibilities:
● Identify potential clients on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
● Create and submit high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our services and value propositions.
● Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective clients.
● Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
● Collaborate with our technical team to understand the scope and requirements of various projects.
● Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
● Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role in the software industry.
● Strong knowledge of Upwork and other freelance platforms.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to write clear, persuasive, and tailored proposals.
● Familiarity with various software development methodologies and technologies.
● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous experience in a similar role on Upwork.
● Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
