Financial Controller

As a controller you would be managing Forecasts, budgets, accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing financial data, monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue and ensuring accuracy of financial information.
As a financial controller you need to manage and improve Business Unit financial performance as we mostly operate on cost plus model and margins are very tight. Also you need to ensure in supporting in generating right accounting. Few of the duties include the Following
· Creating the right business forecast as per the budget targets set by the Management
· Ensuring the targets are met as per the forecasts
· Analyzing financial data and ensure risk mitigation
· Contribute in cost saving modes of operations and avoid revenue leakages
· Understanding the market situation and work on budgeting processes.
· Managing the accounting of financial transactions and .
· Driving targets with internal stakeholders and publishing reports
You would also be responsible for Interacting various internal and external stakeholders to ensure revenue targets are achieved and billing is secured. Driving Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reviews with all the key stakeholders.
Ensure transparent and accurate accounting of the transactions and reporting the same in timely manner. Ensure to prepare reports and represent senior management
Your planning and proficiency as a financial controller will should lead in maintaining positive Financial growth and year on year productivity. You will also be responsible for, formulating financial strategies and adhering to internal controls set by the organization
You should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills,
Qualifications - External
- A qualified CA / CWA / MBA / Master's degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Proven experience in finance management.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong qualities of managing difficult stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, Proficiency in ERPs.
