Techno-Commercial Specialist – Sales/Business Development

Responsibilities
Sales Support: Act as a technical resource for the sales team, providing detailed insights into our solar solutions and their commercial benefits.
Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their energy needs and advise on customized solar solutions, including solar-wind hybrid options.
Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of technical proposals, including system design, project feasibility, and cost estimates, ensuring they meet both client needs and budget constraints.
ROI & Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, ROI calculations, and cost-benefit analysis to illustrate project value and support sales negotiations.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest advancements in solar and hybrid energy solutions, including new technologies and industry trends, to effectively communicate value to clients.
Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Coordinate with the engineering and project management teams to align sales proposals with technical capabilities and project timelines.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a techno-commercial role within the renewable energy sector specifically in Wind & Solar Energy, with strong sales-oriented responsibilities.
Educational Background: Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy preferred) with additional certifications in renewable energy or sales an asset.
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of solar energy solutions, especially hybrid solar-wind systems. Proficiency in design tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for presenting complex technical information to non-technical clients.
Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly adapt to client needs, solve challenges, and provide tailored energy solutions.
