Position Overview:
We are Looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of human resource functions. The ideal candidate will take ownership of HR policy development, employee relations, compliance, talent management, and administrative oversight, ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department.
Roles & Responsibilities:
HR Policy Development and Implementation:
- Draft, implement, and periodically review HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate policies effectively across the organization to ensure clarity and adherence.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent and fulfil organizational staffing requirements.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future workforce needs.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing grievances, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Plan and implement employee engagement activities to boost morale, collaboration, and productivity.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and continuous feedback.
Compliance and Legal Adherence:
- Ensure strict compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure legal compliance and address gaps proactively.
- Liaise with legal advisors to handle employment-related legal matters when necessary.
Performance Management and Appraisals:
- Design and implement a robust performance appraisal system that aligns with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance to managers on setting performance objectives, conducting evaluations, and developing performance improvement plans.
- Recognize and reward high performers to foster a culture of meritocracy.
Training and Development:
- Identify skill gaps and design training programs to enhance employee competencies.
- Collaborate with department heads to create professional development plans tailored to individual and team goals.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and learning initiatives to promote a culture of continuous learning.
HR Administration and Operations:
- Oversee payroll management, attendance tracking, and leave management systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, personal files, and compliance documentation.
- Manage employee benefits programs, such as insurance, wellness initiatives, and retirement plans.
Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop long-term HR strategies to support organizational growth and goals.
- Analyse HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, engagement levels, recruitment efficiency) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Partner with leadership to forecast workforce needs and design succession plans for critical roles.
Workforce Culture and Ethics:
- Foster a collaborative and ethical workplace culture that aligns with the academy’s mission and values.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all HR practices and organizational initiatives.
- Handle sensitive employee issues with discretion, fairness, and professionalism.
HR Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the HR department.
- Serve as a bridge between management and employees, facilitating open communication and trust.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in HR, with a proven track record of success in managerial roles.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Prior experience in the education or healthcare sector is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR management tools and data analysis for informed decision-making.
