Job Title: Hazardous Materials SpecialistSphera is a leading global provider of enterprise software and services that enables companies to manage and optimize their environmental, health, safety, and sustainability.We are seeking a highly skilled Hazardous Materials Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating regulatory-compliant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents for international customers.This involves researching and collecting relevant data from various sources, including supplier SDSs, reference materials, and government regulations.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science, particularly Chemistry or Toxicology, and excellent analytical skills. Experience working with EH&S related software and consulting experience would be an asset.Responsibilities:Create accurate and compliant SDS documents for international customers.Perform quality control and compliance reviews of SDS documents prepared by others.Assist in establishing the details of SDS content to be delivered contractually.Provide related services such as regulatory training, performing compliance reviews, writing procedures, and providing consultation services.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering.At least 3-5 years of work experience in sciences, preferably in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.Strong knowledge of regulations such as REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT, ADG, EPA, CEPA, TSCA, FDA, PCPA, CCCR, CPSC, and other country-specific regulations.We offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.
