The role of an SMT Programming Professional involves collaborating with the manufacturing team to ensure the efficient introduction of new products and existing improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Introduction: Comply with program requests in accordance with the established timelines for introducing new products into each workcell, with a target deviation of +/- 1% from quoted times as per monthly specifications.SMT Program Management: Assist in modifying, optimizing, and balancing line requests by ME's and MS's, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.Backup and Maintenance: Update all SMT backup information on a monthly basis, maintaining accurate records and documentation.MES QM System Implementation: Implement the MES QM system effectively in the area of manufacturing engineering, aligning with new product introductions as directed by upper management.Training and Development: Provide training to manufacturing engineering technicians on generating programs and visual aids using Valor software, as well as train Manufacturing Engineers in creating process routes within the MES system.Engineering Improvement Projects: Lead at least one Engineering improvement project, driving innovation and process enhancements.
