Title - PTC Windchill Consultant

Location- Pune/Bangalore

Exp- 5+ years

  • 5-10 years’ hands-on experience as Windchill Architect with PLM Enterprise Systems, mainly Windchill and Thingworx.
  • Writes code according to detailed programming specifications
  • Completes documentation, unit testing, debugs, and reports results
  • Prepares program specifications in coordination with business analysts
  • Develops coding logic flowcharts and diagrams for small to medium applications.
  • Works with senior staff on system design
  • Configure, Customize & Build solutions aligned with business process and requirements.
  • Develop applications using Windchill’s REST API,
  • Deploy and debug code through build process and with accordance to best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with onshore/offshore Business/Solution Architects and support them in developing prototypes and implementing full solutions.
  • Understand the technical requirements and develop detailed design documents
  • Coordinate support activities and identify solutions for complex issues
  • Develop code with minimum supervision, that meets quality standards and best practices
  • Provide unit and functional test-cases for the implemented solutions
  • Ability to install, configure and upgrade Windchill and prior experience with integrations is a plus.
  • Ability to code according industry standards, preferably in Java, Python is a plus
  • Experience working on Agile engagements is a plus
  • Good knowledge on Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT and JIRA.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in documentation
  • Experience with Java programming, specifically with Windchill API
  • In Depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development preferred
  • Database experience (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal skills are preferred
  • Prior experience with Manufacturing Automotive industry a major plus
  • Masters/Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and equivalent experience in the development industry
