As a key member of our data team, you will be responsible for defining and executing our enterprise data architecture plan in alignment with business goals and growth objectives.Design and Implement Data SolutionsArchitect, design, and implement robust data solutions on cloud platforms, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakehouses.Lead Modernization EffortsLead the modernization of our data platforms using cutting-edge technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and related ecosystem services.Develop Scalable Data PipelinesDesign and implement scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using frameworks such as Apache Spark, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity.Establish Governance StandardsEstablish and enforce data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and quality standards across our data ecosystem.Collaborate with StakeholdersCollaborate with business stakeholders, analytics/BI teams, data engineers, and data scientists to understand requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with our organization's needs.Provide Technical LeadershipProvide technical leadership, mentor data engineering teams, drive best practices, and ensure maintainability of our data platform.Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging TrendsKeep abreast of emerging data technologies and industry trends; recommend and adopt improvements to continuously evolve our data platform.Requirements12–15 years of overall IT experience8+ years in a Data Architect / senior data-platform architect roleProven experience architecting and implementing Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakehouses at enterprise scaleStrong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, cloud-native storage and servicesDeep proficiency in Apache Spark (batch and streaming), data ingestion frameworks, ETL/ELT workflows, and orchestrationProgramming skills in Python for data engineering, automation, custom transformations, and scriptingStrong knowledge of data modeling, schema design (logical and physical), relational and/or non-relational data stores, query optimization, and performance tuningExperience with real-time streaming and event-driven data frameworksSolid understanding of cloud-native data ecosystemExcellent communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership skillsEducation & BackgroundBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldProven track record of designing and delivering large-scale data architecture solutions in enterprise environments
