Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned professional to drive enterprise-level data governance initiatives. This role focuses on establishing robust governance frameworks, facilitating strategic workshops, and partnering with technical teams to operationalize governance using specialized tools and platforms.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and institutionalize data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across business units.Conduct strategic workshops with clients to define governance objectives, roles, and ownership models.Help set up and formalize the Data Governance Council – document charters, roles, responsibilities, and governance operating models.Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and security teams to implement governance controls using platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Implement and monitor AI governance principles ensuring compliance, ethical AI use, and adherence to organizational policies.Understand diverse business domains – Real Estate, Retail, E-Commerce, Investment Holding, Hospitality & Entertainment, and Government Entities – to align governance frameworks with business priorities.RequirementsKey Skills and Qualifications:Strong experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Information Governance within enterprise environments.Proven ability to conduct governance business workshops and translate outcomes into actionable governance models.Experience in establishing and operationalizing governance councils and defining data ownership structures.Hands-on exposure to governance tools and technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Deep understanding of Microsoft's Security and Compliance Framework and its relevance to data governance.Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.About UsWe offer a competitive compensation package and health benefits designed to support your well-being.
