Electrical Power Box Design JobThe Electrical Power Box Design position is a critical role in the development of power boxes and architecture, requiring hands-on experience with circuit design, component selection, and electrical schematics.A strong foundation in power calculations, load analysis, and fault current calculations is essential for ensuring system safety and reliability.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing short circuit and interrupting calculations to verify system safety and reliability.Design and develop control panels as per UL508A standards, including layout, wiring, and protection circuits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.The designer will also conduct thermal calculations to verify heat dissipation and component derating, selecting suitable OEM components used within control panels.Responsibilities: Perform design tasks related to power box architecture, circuit design, and component selection. Conduct load and fault current calculations to ensure system safety and reliability. Develop control panels according to UL508A standards and industry best practices. Select suitable OEM components based on thermal calculations and component derating.Requirements: Strong knowledge of power calculations, load analysis, and fault current calculations. Ability to perform short circuit and interrupting calculations. Proficiency in designing and developing control panels according to UL508A standards.
