Responsibilities:-
Record and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Liaising with payroll partners to ensure that all compliances in and around payroll (e.g. Payroll forms, perquisite filings, shared based disclosures, etc.) are complied with on time and accurately.
Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements of respective entities.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of balances and investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
Provide insights and explanations for variances in financial and accounting metrics.
Prepare documentation and support for internal and external audits, including local compliances for each location.
Find opportunities for process improvements within the R2R process.
Implement and supervise internal controls within the R2R process.
Requirement:-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business administration.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in international accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of international accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations (EMEA).
Proficiency in advanced Excel and enterprise accounting software.
Experience with multi-currency transactions and consolidations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across cultures.
Able to work independently on Audit and Compliances for entities in EMEA and APAC.
Exposure on the international payroll.
