About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with expertise in Selenium/Cypress to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient test scripts, performing automation and manual testing, executing automated tests, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, proficiency in Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.


Core Responsibilities

  • Design and develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of software applications and identify areas for automation.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Develop and maintain test data and test environments necessary for test execution.
  • Monitor and report test results, metrics, and defects to ensure timely and accurate feedback to the development team.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices.


Required Skills

  • 2 to 6 years of proven work experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and tools


Qualifications

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cucumber, TestNG, TestCafe, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Certifications related to software testing and test automation.
