Job Summary:

The Relationship Manager for ISRO will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian space industry, specifically in areas related to space missions, satellite technology, and space research. The Relationship Manager will act as the primary point of contact between the organization and ISRO, ensuring seamless communication, strategic collaboration, and alignment with ISRO’s objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within ISRO, including senior scientists, engineers, and administrative officials.

• Serve as a liaison between the organization and ISRO, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely responses to requests.

• Facilitate regular meetings, reviews, and updates with ISRO to ensure ongoing alignment and partnership growth.

• Identify opportunities for collaboration on space missions, satellite development, and research projects.

• Work closely with internal teams to align organizational goals with ISRO’s strategic objectives and mission plans.

• Proactively propose innovative solutions and joint ventures that benefit both ISRO and the organization.

• Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of joint projects with ISRO.

• Ensure that project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met in coordination with ISRO’s requirements.

• Provide regular status updates to both internal and ISRO stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps.

• Identify and explore new business opportunities within ISRO’s ecosystem, including contracts, grants, and collaborative research.

• Support the preparation of proposals, bids, and tender responses tailored to ISRO’s needs and specifications.

• Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and policy changes that may impact the partnership with ISRO.

• Maintain comprehensive records of all communications, agreements, and project progress related to ISRO.

• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management on the status of ISRO-related activities.

• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations in dealings with ISRO.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Business Administration, or a related field..

• 5+ years of experience in client relationship management, business development, or project management, preferably within the aerospace or defence sectors.

• Prior experience working with or within ISRO or other space agencies is a must.

• Strong understanding of the aerospace and space technology sectors.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with senior officials.

• Proven track record in managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.


Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based, with frequent travel to ISRO facilities and related locations.

• Occasional attendance at conferences, industry events, and meetings outside regular office hours may be required.
