In a 25-acre fully residential campus in Delhi NCR, Rishihood has students from 27 different states and 4 countries within just 3 years. It gives interdisciplinary learning that includes a set of foundational courses, a choice of majors and minors, a bias towards hands-on learning, and holistic development that includes physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
About the Role
We are seeking a Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Rishihood University. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical skill set in video editing, a keen eye for impactful storytelling, and the ability to create engaging video content across multiple formats and platforms. You will play a pivotal role in capturing and showcasing the vibrant life and unique ethos of Rishihood University.
Expectations
- Video Editing:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos using tools like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Create videos tailored to different platforms, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and more.
- Content Creation:
- Develop videos with compelling storylines to captivate and engage diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure videos align with the university’s branding and messaging.
- Videography Guidance:
- Work closely with the videography team to guide them in capturing relevant and meaningful footage.
- Ensure footage quality aligns with the storyline and production goals.
- Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Liaise with various departments to understand their video requirements and deliver tailored content.
- Provide creative input to address departmental needs effectively.
- Timely Delivery:
- Work within tight deadlines to produce and deliver polished videos as per project requirements.

Requirements
- Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in video editing and production.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work across various video formats and sizes, optimizing for platform-specific requirements.
- Attributes:
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability to work under tight timelines while maintaining quality.
- On-Campus Presence: Must be willing to work on-site at Rishihood University’s campus in the NCR of Delhi.
