Cloud Operations ExpertWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Expert to join our team. This role involves designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and performance.About the Role:This position requires strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure management, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and related services. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud monitoring and observability strategies, such as Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing cloud capacity and resource scaling, ensuring infrastructure availability aligns with application demand and SLAs. They will also work closely with the DevOps team to build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to streamline provisioning and management of cloud resources.Key Responsibilities include supporting the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, managing and optimizing Windows-based infrastructure, and assisting with continuous improvement of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup strategies across cloud environments.Other responsibilities include working with the DevOps team to build and maintain IaC, supporting the management of CI/CD pipelines using Octopus Deploy, and implementing security best practices, including access controls, IAM policies, encryption, and vulnerability management.Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in and continuously improve incident response processes, including on-call rotations, blameless postmortems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.About You:You have a strong background in cloud operations and infrastructure management, with experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure.You possess excellent technical skills, including knowledge of cloud monitoring and observability strategies, as well as experience with tools like Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.You are able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.You are committed to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in cloud operations.
