Job Description Strategy and Planning - Develop and refine cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Plan and manage complex cloud migrations and optimizations, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud adoption and ongoing operations. - Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate cloud technology trends and recommend suitable solutions. - Drive and refine cloud strategies with emphasis on optimization and innovation. Policies, Processes & Procedures - Develop and enforce cloud policies that enhance security, cost efficiency, and operational consistency. - Ensure alignment of cloud operations with regulatory and compliance requirements. - Design advanced workflows and processes for seamless integration of cloud solutions. - Oversee implementation of automation in processes like provisioning, scaling, and resource optimization. - Guide teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud issues using structured methodologies. Job specific bucket/s Advanced Cloud Architecture - Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions. - Architect hybrid cloud and multi-cloud setups integrating on-premises systems. - Optimize workloads using serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Optimization And Automation - Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or Pulumi. - Automate repetitive tasks, including scaling, monitoring, and deployments. Cost And Performance Management - Analyze cloud usage patterns and suggest cost optimization techniques (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans). - Monitor application performance and recommend tuning solutions. Security And Compliance - Implement advanced security mechanisms (e.g., WAFs, encryption, key management). - Ensure compliance with standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Team Collaboration And Mentorship - Mentor junior cloud specialists in best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps processes. Audit Responsibilities - Compliance management - Lead security audits. - Optimization reviews People Management - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud specialists. - Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - Help develop the skills and capabilities of team members through training and coaching. - Act as a point of escalation for technical issues that require advanced expertise.
