We are looking for an Experienced Architect/Designer to undertake a variety of commercial, flexible workspaces & coworking, design and fit-out projects. The candidate must have the experience of designing and delivering co-working/flexible workplaces, extended to designing dedicated client specific work environments. The candidate must have basic to intermediate level of understanding in terms of MEP services and must be detail oriented. Understanding the nuances of the evolving workspace scenario and the flexible workspace ecosystem is an added advantage. Must have demonstrable experience in developing and building design teams to deliver outstanding design and documentation quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build & Sustain Clients/internal stakeholders' relationships, act as primary interface for design with Business units, external design consultants, MEP, and a wide range of consultant, for all aspects pertaining to projects.
  • Skilfully resolve detailing and technical issues in line with the project’s design agenda.
  • Lead and oversee technical documentation of projects with the ability to define and develop studio standards for production at scale and leverage learnings to optimize production and daily operations.
  • Mentor a young team to develop design leaders and set a high standard of performance.
  • Be sensitive to and understand the business requirements to contribute to product development and continuous improvement of the base offering.
  • Offer support in terms of design, documentation and process formulation to ensure uninterrupted project delivery, including spear heading a few projects by self.

Qualifications:

  • B.Arch. or Interior design course from accredited school of design or architecture.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of in a design role with experience working with commercial office space, corporate/enterprise & Co-Working office interior design development, documentation and coordination.
  • Passionate about creating customer-centric design, flexibility/adaptability & thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with necessary software tools required for design consultant's firm. (AutoCAD, Sketchup, PPT & Photoshop). Revit skills would be an added advantage.
  • Strong conceptualisation & 3D visualisation skills. Experience of having worked in a design studio with experience in project pitches would be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication & customer relationship
  • Ability to identify points of improvement across various facets of design and provide solutions within the set framework to best extent.
