If you have a proven track record of defining complex customer data strategies and leading teams through organizational change, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Solution ArticulationServing as the lead technical consultant, you will translate complex C-level banking business challenges into clear, scalable, and secure Snowflake Data Cloud solutions. This will involve articulating architectural vision, designing target state architectures, and ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and security best practices.Architecture DesignYou will define the target state architecture for large-scale data migrations from legacy systems (Teradata, Oracle) to Snowflake, leveraging expertise in SQL, Python (Snowpark), and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Your focus will be on delivering high-performance, cost-efficient, and secure data platforms.Security & ComplianceAs a trusted advisor, you will design and enforce data governance frameworks within Snowflake to meet stringent BFSI regulatory requirements. This will involve leveraging features like Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Dynamic Data Masking, and External Tokenization to ensure the highest level of data protection.Community Leadership & Thought EvangelismYou will represent the company as a keynote or track speaker at global data events, sharing innovative BFSI use cases and thought leadership. Additionally, you will author high-impact technical white papers, blogs, and reference architectures that establish expertise in financial data modernization and advanced Snowflake features.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you must possess:15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Engineering6+ years of expert, hands-on architecture experience with the Snowflake Data CloudDomain Expertise (MANDATORY): 7+ years of direct experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) sector, demonstrating deep knowledge of regulatory reporting, core banking systems, and risk managementCertifications (MULTIPLE): Required - SnowPro Advanced Architect; Required - SnowPro Core; Preferred - At least one other advanced certification (e.g., Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Administrator)Technical Skills: Expert in SQL and proficiency in Python (Snowpark); Deep experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Informatica) and major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
