The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based (Azure) server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.Key Responsibilities:*Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).*Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).*Manage server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.*Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.*Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.*Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.*Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.*Provide L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.*Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.*Work with vendors and other teams for issue resolution and implementation support.Required Qualifications:*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.*5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.*Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.*Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.*Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.*Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).*Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.Preferred Qualifications:*Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE)*Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)*Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, PRTG, SCOM)*Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practicesSoft Skills:*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills*Excellent verbal and written communication*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment*Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
