Deloitte helps companies safeguard their valuable assets by adopting a secure, vigilant, and resilient approach.Cybersecurity Threat Response Specialist: This role involves providing day-to-day technical expertise, operational leadership, mentoring, and escalation for Cyber Security Analysts. The team owns and drives improvement in the team's capability, including operational maturity, detection strategies, mitigation strategies, and participating in purple teaming activities.The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding and experience with incident response methodologies and techniques, detection and mitigation strategies for a broad range of cyber threats, common cloud platforms/technologies, malware analysis and reverse engineering, common enterprise technologies, operational usage of common analysis and response tooling, security orchestration and automation tools and techniques, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and the Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain or similar methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Lead under pressure to respond to cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, events, and incidents.Provide day-to-day technical expertise, operational leadership, mentoring, and escalation for Cyber Security Analysts.Develop and drive improvement in the team's capability, including operational maturity, detection strategies, mitigation strategies, and participating in purple teaming activities.Requirements:Demonstrated ability to stay calm and lead under pressure.Experience working in a CSOC / CIRT performing level 2 and/or level 3 support.Tertiary qualifications preferably in technology and cybersecurity subjects are required, along with certifications such as SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or similar.Preferred Qualifications:Complex enterprise environment experience.Ability to influence without direct authority.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and lateral thinking skills.Benefits:The preferred location is Gurgaon, with a work-from-office arrangement.
