Job Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) Manager is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated business units. The role serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The HRBP Manager assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicates proactively with the HR department and business management, and seeks to develop integrated solutions. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Lead change management initiatives to improve organizational culture and employee engagement.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Partner with recruitment teams to ensure effective hiring strategies are implemented.
  • Guide managers on performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Assist in developing and tracking KPIs to measure the success of HR initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Partner with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
  • Stay current on labor law updates and HR trends to provide best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • HR certifications is an advantage. (If any)
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience with at least 6 years in an HRBP role or a managerial position.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Skills:

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the business strategy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees and business leaders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of executing HR initiatives that drive business results.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis.
