About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing using industry-standard tools and a passion for ensuring the optimal performance of our applications. As a Performance Tester, you will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, ensuring our systems can handle peak loads and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Testing: Design, execute, and analyze performance tests using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter. Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.
  • API Testing: Conduct API performance testing to ensure the reliability and scalability of our APIs.
  • Functional Testing: Collaborate with functional testing teams to identify performance testing requirements and ensure that performance testing aligns with overall product quality objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance test results to identify trends, identify performance issues, and measure the impact of optimizations.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive performance test reports, including key findings, recommendations, and performance metrics.
  • Performance Optimization: Work closely with development teams to implement performance improvements and ensure that applications meet performance SLAs.
  • Stay Updated: Stay up to date with the latest performance testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4-8 years of experience in performance testing.
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and concepts (e.g., load testing, stress testing, endurance testing).
  • Experience with API testing and performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
  • Certifications in performance testing (e.g., HP LoadRunner Certified Professional).
