Job Title: Dairy Sector SpecialistThis role focuses on enhancing scientific and technical collaboration and research in the dairy sector across India.Support multi-disciplinary science and research initiatives to enhance technical, scientific and operational capacity in the livestock and dairy sectors.Act as a liaison between organizations and partners ensuring alignment on science and research priorities.Support knowledge exchange between teams based in India and internationally.Key Responsibilities:Provide technical and scientific support to implementation partners in the dairy sector.Contribute to landscape assessments of challenges in the livestock and dairy sectors to support problem identification and solution development.Provide insights and analysis to inform decision-making on projects related to agriculture, water and food.Build and maintain relationships with local partners, stakeholders and governmental agencies to develop strategic visions for programming.Represent organizations at meetings and events across India.Document progress and prepare reports to update key stakeholders regularly.Participate in cross-time-zone meetings and balance real-time and asynchronous communication effectively.Contribute to written materials for internal and external audiences and support fundraising and grant writing.Competencies and Soft Skills:The incumbent should be adept at navigating relationships in a cross-cultural context and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.Strong relationship building and management skills, self-awareness, cultural competency and inclusivity.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on evolving requirements and timelines.Why Join Us?Be part of a team committed to driving social impact through meaningful projects.
