Role Description
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Take and fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Provide recommendations to customers on drink selections based on their preferences.
- Check customers' identification to verify their legal drinking age.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Handle cash, credit, or debit transactions and ensure proper cash register operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels; notify management of low-stock items.
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage difficult or intoxicated customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink mixing techniques and alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
- Certification in Responsible Beverage Service.
