DIGITALIZATION ENGINEER Function: Digitalization  Engineer Digitalization Education: ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.   Key Deliverables: ● Develop and implement digitalization strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, including automation and data analytics. citeturn0search6 ● Integrate digital technologies such as IoT, AI, and machine learning to optimize production workflows and improve efficiency. ● Lead cross-functional teams to execute digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with HSE and quality standards. ● Coordinate with departments such as design engineering, planning, procurement, and materials to facilitate seamless digital integration. ● Identify and implement innovative solutions for process optimization and cost control through digital tools. ● Develop and manage vendor mobilization plans and schedules for digital solutions. ● Prepare and present reports on digitalization progress and outcomes to management. ● Ensure adherence to world-class HSE standards in all digitalization initiatives. ● Contribute to cost estimation and proposal development for digital projects. Key Relationships: ● Internal to organization: Design & Engineering, Planning, Procurement, IT, Operations. ● External to organization: Technology Vendors, Contractors, Clients, On-site Management. Responsibilities: Prime Responsibilities: ● Develop strategies for the execution of digitalization projects, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases. ● Create and update checklists and procedures for digital project execution in line with contractual clauses. ● Establish and maintain safety protocols related to digital systems and processes. ● Address operational readiness for digital tools and platforms within the project scope. ● Facilitate the integration of digital solutions into existing manufacturing processes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. ● Manage digitalization projects to meet schedules and budgets while complying with quality and safety requirements. ● Participate in engineering studies and special projects related to digital transformation. ● Provide input for cost estimation and resource planning for digital initiatives. Shared Cross-Functionally: ● Collaborate with clients' engineering teams and other disciplines for activity planning and resource mobilization. ● Align with clients' work processes and guidelines for digital execution. ● Manage manpower and skill development for digitalization efforts. ● Offer insights on operability and maintainability during constructability studies to engineering teams. ● Coordinate with engineering for the resolution of process and technical issues related to digital systems. ● Engage in engineering studies and reviews pertinent to digital technologies. Key Competencies - Functional: Need to Have: ● Proven experience in managing teams and leading digital transformation projects. ● In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, process engineering, and digital tools for planning and scheduling. ● Familiarity with automation systems and their integration into manufacturing environments. ● Strong understanding of data analytics and its application in process optimization. Nice to Have: ● Experience in developing documentation and procedures related to digital execution activities. ● Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP within a manufacturing setup. ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
