Job Title: Deputy Manager - Customer Quality

Location: Sulur,Coimbatore

Reports To: Deputy Manager - Customer Quality


Job Summary:

As the Deputy Manager of Customer Quality, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction for our backhoe loader products. You will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, addressing customer feedback, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Oversight:

Manage and support the quality assurance team in conducting inspections and tests of backhoe loaders throughout the manufacturing process.


Customer Feedback Management:

Gather, analyze, and respond to customer feedback and quality-related concerns. Act as the main point of contact for customer quality issues.


Root Cause Analysis:

Lead investigations into quality failures and develop action plans to prevent recurrence. Utilize tools such as 8D, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.


Quality Improvement Initiatives:

Develop and implement quality improvement programs, focusing on reducing defects and enhancing customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution.


Training and Development:

Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards and practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.


Compliance and Standards:

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to quality management. Stay updated on best practices and innovations in quality assurance.


Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of quality metrics, customer complaints, and improvement initiatives. Prepare regular reports for management review.


Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) is a plus.


Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer quality within the manufacturing sector, preferably in heavy machinery or construction equipment.


Skills:


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in quality management systems and tools.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques for backhoe loaders.
