Quality Assurance SpecialistThe primary objective of this role is to ensure the highest quality standards are met in software products.Job Summary: As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to guarantee our software products meet stringent quality benchmarks.Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.Execute comprehensive automated test suites to validate application functionality and performance.Identify, document, and track defects, then collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend application features and requirements.Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure test code quality and adherence to best practices.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage, defects, and overall quality.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience in QA automation with a focus on Cypress and JavaScript.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jest) is a plus.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs is a plus.
