Founded in 2012, we strive to apply the principles of stock selection practiced at top global hedge funds to the Indian equity market.Prior to founding our firm, our Managing Partner worked at two renowned, multi-billion-dollar hedge funds in New York as an Investment Analyst from 2005 until 2012. We endeavour to conduct in-depth valuations and seek mis-understood situations and abnormal stock movements.Job RoleJunior AnalystKey ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be responsible for financial modeling, financial analysis, and forming an investment thesis on the sector the analyst is expected to work on.The candidate will be responsible to track down and analyse every industry/company data point that is available in the public domain.The candidate will be responsible for making presentations and presenting convincing ideas to the team.The candidate will also be entrusted with a few administrative responsibilities shared by all members of the team.RequirementsKey Skills and QualificationsA keen interest in capital markets.The ability to fully understand businesses and the sectors in which they operate.Strong skills in financial modeling, analysing income statements-balance sheet-cash flows and valuing companies.Prior experience of building operating and financial models of companies and industries.Familiarity with the basic principles of equity valuation.Attention to detail is essential.1-2 years of relevant work experience (sell-side or buy-side experience is preferred).BenefitsAs a Junior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and talented team environment.
