The ideal candidate will have experience in property and real estate accounting, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis and Reporting:Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial statements.Analyze financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.Business Partnering and Stakeholder Communication:Collaborate with finance teams to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accounts.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.Property-Focused Financial Management:Support the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property.Work closely with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts.Requirements:Experience:Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.Language Skills:Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
