Paid Media Director

As a seasoned paid media leader, you will oversee the strategic direction of all paid media activities across our client portfolio. With a strong focus on planning and operational consistency, you will ensure high-performance standards across digital channels.You will be responsible for developing comprehensive paid media strategies that outline channel roles and performance expectations. Additionally, you will lead the planning and execution of paid search, social, programmatic, video, and emerging media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand goals and integrating effectively with creative, analytics, and planning departments.Maintaining effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders is crucial in this role. You will provide clear rationale behind recommendations and leadership to paid media specialists and cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Establish a comprehensive paid media strategy that outlines channel roles and performance expectations.Lead the planning and oversight of paid search, social, programmatic, video, and emerging media platforms.Develop frameworks for optimisation, measurement, and continuous improvement across campaigns.Review performance outputs, identify improvement opportunities, and guide teams toward strategic adjustments.Ensure all paid media activities align with brand goals and integrate effectively with creative, analytics, and planning departments.Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear rationale behind recommendations.Requirements:8+ years working in paid media management, digital advertising, or media leadership roles.Deep understanding of major platforms (Google, Meta, programmatic DSPs, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).Strong analytical capabilities, with proven experience interpreting performance data and shaping strategic decisions.Demonstrated success leading teams within agencies or large marketing organisations.Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.Ability to work independently within a remote structure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
