Job Summary:
RCPSDC (Rubber, Chemical & Petrochemical Skill Development Council) is seeking a qualified and experienced Business Development Manager for Gujrat / Odisha. The ideal candidate will carry 5+ years of experience in Chemical or Polymer Industry.
BDM will also be responsible for brining in the requirement of technical trainings and skilling of the industry (Chemical and Polymer), and academia (ITIs Polytechnics, Technical Education Institutes Schools and Universities in the state of Gujrat). The candidate should have an understanding of the technical trainings and skilling landscape in the region. She/he will take complete responsibility of project cycle for skilling projects, ensuring successful collaboration The position requires frequent travel across the state of Gujrat.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance engagement and collaboration with Industry and Academia in the state of Gujarat/Odisha along with liasoning with key government departments.
Develop partnerships with industry leaders, trade associations, and academic institutions to ensure relevant and updated skilling programs that meet industry requirements.
Work with academia to facilitate effective learning models and curriculum design for skilling programs.
Aggregate skilled workforce requirement from the industry
Coordinate and organize placement drives / job melas in the institutes, ITIs, etc
Evangelize skill programs of the Ministry of Skill Development and SSC.
Responsible for the revenue generation and payment collection
Ensure smooth execution of skilling projects, from planning, stakeholder management, implementation, to final project closure.
Monitor project performance, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Provide regular updates to the National Head on project progress, stakeholder engagements, and any challenges or bottlenecks.
Prepare detailed project reports (DPR), presentations, and updates as per organizational requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and master’s degree in management with experience in Chemical / Polymer industry. Minimum 4-5 years of experience
