Job Title:The Problem Manager is a vital role in IT service management.This position involves identifying the root causes of issues, implementing preventive measures, and driving continuous improvement within the IT environment.Evaluate and categorize incidents promptly to assess their impact and urgency.Identify major incidents based on predefined criteria.Serve as the primary point of contact for all significant incidents.The Major Incident Manager is responsible for effectively managing and leading the response to major incidents, ensuring efficient resource allocation to resolve the incident and minimize its impact on the organization.This role plays a critical part in maintaining the continuity and reliability of IT services.Key Responsibilities:Incident Management: Assess, classify, and prioritize incidents according to their impact and urgency.Problem Management: Identify the root causes of issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for major incidents, coordinating with stakeholders and resources to ensure effective resolution.Crisis Leadership: Manage and lead responses to major incidents, allocating resources efficiently to minimize disruption.This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to drive results and improve IT service delivery.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you will need:Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and methodologies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong leadership and coordination skills.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
