Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

We're seeking an expert in quality assurance to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.Key ResponsibilitiesWe'll develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress/Playwright for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.We collaborate with engineering and product teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and release quality standards.We ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automation suites.We integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain pipeline stability.We implement test reporting, dashboards, and quality analytics.We diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures efficiently.We promote best practices in QA automation and contribute to continuous process improvements.Required SkillsWe need strong hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.A proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is essential.Experience in API testing, including mocking frameworks like Postman or similar tools is required.Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills are a must.Exposure to performance testing and visual regression testing is beneficial.Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is a plus.Preferred / Secondary SkillsExperience with Jenkins, Shell scripting, Java, and AWS is a bonus.Knowledge of integrating automation within modern DevOps ecosystems is desirable.Primary Skills: Cypress/Playwright, JavaScript/Typescript, PostmanSecondary Skills: Jenkins, Java, Shell Scripting, AWSThis global company is ranked among the top technology leaders and consistently recognized as one of the best companies to work for.
