What will you do:
Responsible for Month end close activities
Ensures that monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close schedules are met
Handle intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliation and settlements
Lead and mentor the R2R team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development
Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements to optimize the R2R function
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives
Train and develop team members, ensuring competency and performance
Proficient in Journal entry, ledgers and sub-ledgers.
Knowledge of AP Factoring and its recording in Books of accounts.
Prior experience in General Accounting and periodical book closure.
Profile requirements:
CA Inter degree & relevant work experience in General Ledger
Experience of 10-15 years in general ledger
Demonstrated expertise in MS Office and financial/ERP software (Working knowledge of ERP systems SAP or JDE or Oracle 11 or Oracle 12 or PRMS )
Must have knowledge in advance excel.
Project management skills, including change management skills
Strong proven people and performance management skills
Experience working with Global stakeholders is preferred
Strong analytical skills
Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead team in a fast paced environment
English language: full professional proficiency
Ability to drive conversations with remote teams (located globally)
Confident decision making, Ability to act quickly
Flexibility to change direction fast and handle responsibilities independently
