We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bank Reconciliation Executive to join our Finance team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of our financial records with bank statements and investigating discrepancies to maintain accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and a passion for financial accuracy.

Responsibilities: 1.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure company financial records are accurate and in line with bank statements.

2.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank transactions and company records, including any missing or mis posted payments.

3.

Collaborate with internal departments to reconcile accounts, ensuring data integrity and accurate financial reporting.

4.

Monitor outstanding transactions like uncashed checks or pending deposits and follow up as necessary.

5.

Document all financial data related to bank reconciliations according to company policies and audit requirements.

6.

Provide regular reports to management on the progress of reconciliations, discrepancies, and resolutions.

7.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by completing accurate bank reconciliations on time.

8.

Support internal and external audit processes by preparing reconciliation documentation and providing explanations as needed.

9.

Stay updated on changes in banking procedures, reconciliation processes, and accounting standards.

Requirements: 1.

Bachelor’s degree in commerce or related field with a basic understanding of accounts and finance.

2.2-3 years of experience in a Finance or Accounts department.

Skills: 1.

Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

2.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

3.

Ability to analyze data effectively and identify discrepancies.

4.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
