Senior Product Analyst

As a Senior Product Analyst with Data Domain Experience, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and contributing to the development and enhancement of DQLABS Product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to analyze data, derive insights, and shape the evolution of Data Observability/Quality/Discovery modules of DQLABS product by incorporating semantics and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of data, and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
Product Analyst Responsibilities :
Product Enhancement:
- Collaborate with product managers to define and prioritize features for data products.
- Work with engineers to design and implement data-driven solutions that enhance the functionality of existing products.
Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data products.
- Create user stories based on analysis of customer feedback, user data, business strategy, research, and best practices.
Metrics and KPIs:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data products.
- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate product performance.
- Forecast product adoption, revenue, and other key metrics based on historical data.
- Evaluate the financial and operational impact of product changes.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
- Analyze large datasets to provide actionable recommendations for product improvements.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure, through acceptance criteria and testing, that iterations deliver the desired functionality with high quality.
- Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of data products.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and execute test plans.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with data scientists, engineers, and other analysts to integrate data products into broader ecosystems.
- Collaborate with customer success and marketing teams to align customer feedback with product strategies.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements And Skills :
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
- 7+ years of Proven experience as a Product analyst, with a focus on data-driven products.
- Proven experience on Software Product Requirements Analysis, Product Roadmap Management, Wireframing, User Stories
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in conducting competitor and market analysis to benchmark product performance and product gaps
- Demonstrate a good Understanding of the Modern Data Stack, BI Reporting tools, Relation Databases and ETL Products.
- Familiarity with Data modeling concepts and techniques.
- Experience with Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications.
- Familiarity with Data governance and Compliance principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong experience using Jira and Confluence for Managing product feature tracking and to capture requirements.
