Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented US Tax Associate to support US tax compliance and reporting requirements. The role involves preparing US federal and state tax returns, assisting with tax research, and supporting senior tax professionals in delivering accurate and timely tax services to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review US federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trustsAssist in preparation of Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and related schedulesSupport compliance with US GAAP tax provisions (ASC 740) where applicablePerform tax research using US tax codes, regulations, and online tax research toolsAnalyze financial statements and supporting schedules for tax purposesCoordinate with onshore US tax teams to meet filing deadlinesMaintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controlsSupport IRS notices, audits, and information requests as neededStay updated on changes in US tax laws and regulationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field1–4 years of experience in US taxation (public accounting or shared services preferred)Strong understanding of US federal and state tax conceptsExperience with US tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, or similar)Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial analysisPreferred QualificationsCA / CPA (US) / EA / CA-Inter qualification or pursuingExperience working with Big 4 or large accounting firmsExposure to international tax concepts is a plus
